IRIS Enterprise Software has won its first high profile
Industry Award as part of the IRIS Group.
The company was named ‘Financial Software Provider of the
Year’ at the prestigious 2006 Real Finance/CBI FDs’ Excellence
Awards on April 6th.
It is the second time that the company has claimed the award which

is based on an in-depth survey of the views of a sizeable
cross-section of Financial Directors (579). The title was awarded
in 2005 to Exchequer Software, as it was known before its name
change to IRIS Enterprise Software.
The mid range accounting software developer has always been
identified as a benchmark within the industry and claims the unique
accolade of winning more ‘Best Mid-Range Accounting Software’
awards than any other author.
Stuart Dawson, Managing Director of IRIS Enterprise Software
collected the award. He said “Winning the title ‘Financial Software
Provider of the Year’ is even more of an achievement this year as
it marks the first major award for the new IRIS Enterprise Software
team. Our award winning software is enhanced by being part of the
IRIS Group. High levels of investment mean that we can produce even
more innovative solutions and explore exciting and new areas of the
market.”

Commenting on IRIS Enterprise Software’s success, Richard
Young, Editor and Publishing Director of Real Finance, said "The
great thing about the Real Finance/CBI FDs' Excellence Awards, in
association with Bank of Scotland Corporate, is that they're based
on the votes of FDs using the winning products and services. There
was nothing IRIS, nor any other of the short-listed organisations
(Access Accounting, Microsoft Navision, Pegasus, Red Sky IT
Systems, Sage, SAP, Sun Accounts), could do to influence a panel of
judges or spend huge amounts of money on a flashy entry pack. The
only way you win one of our awards is to offer the UK's finance
directors great products and excellent service."
“One FD who completed the Real Finance Satisfaction Survey said of
IRIS "The service is excellent." Another commented "Exchequer
software is superb, and the company is really good too. For once I
have a system I'm happy to sing the praises for and recommend. In
particular their links to Excel make the system really useful
outside finance - even sales people can easily use Excel to produce
reports showing live data in just minutes."

Exchequer
from IRIS Enterprise Software is used by 15,000 companies in 40
countries.
Exchequer is ideally suited to businesses with a turnover
of £2-£50 million that employ between 20 and 250 staff and that
